Friday 31 August- Theme Park Friday

It's Theme Park Friday on The Campervan and joining Bridget and Glen will be Leanne Pooley director of the documentary "Topp Twins - Untouchable Girls," which is screening at the Melbourne International Film Festival. The film tells the story of lesbian, comedian, twin sisters; Jools and Lynda Topp. It is a celebration of these two incredible women but more than that it tells the story of how two lesbians became national icons.

Straight Up! with Taryn at 12pm this week JOY's Chris Jameson will be dropping by and chatting with the Freemasons about their new album, David Hunt will be filling us in on all JOY's new music and I will continue to fill you in on all the music touring your neighbour so you never miss out.

Between 12 and 2pm over indulge in all the pop culture you can imagine on Outland Institute. Join John and a host of special guests for all the latest in film, tv, and books.


Theme Party is on from 11pm and in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the moon landing they'll have a special MOON show. They’ll be riding on the moon and flying to the moon and we’ll even have songs about blue moons, paper moons and old devil moons. All this in addition to their regular segments: Nat’s Conversation Pit, Katie’s Clutch Purse and Daniel’s Cocktail Menu. Next week’s theme: FIVE.

They promise to deliver you a one-stop weekly guide to the latest happenings of the ever-evolving music industry. There's also a great mix of music - album tracks, rarities, b-sides, remixes and mash-ups are their specialty.
